I am in Mr Goodwin's and Miss Gardens literacy class, my reading group is the Rurus.

A ruru is a native owl in new zealand.

 The Ruru sounds like its screaming for more pork.

we are lucky to have professional coaches teaching us in our swimming lessons, so l made the most of it and worked really hard to improve  my teacher  

When we got to the GI pools our teacher sent us to go and get changed Into our togs. you need to have a shower to wash the wax off your hair before you get in the pool. when we got  out of the shower we were shivering and shaking like snow flakes.

When we were doing freestyle using our flutter board we were floating and we had to kick  to go fast. If we didn’t kick we will go slow we kicked fast propelling through the water  

on the final day of swimming we had a relay race to see  how much we had improved.The instructors called six people at a time to see how good we are

our lessons were hard work at times but it was really worth it
